Just last week with 17.10 I was showing some people running Windows how
easy it was to browse and connect to Windows servers with Nautilus. Now,
with 18.04, they again have to jump through hoops and know cryptic smb

- Ctrl+Alt+T doesn't open terminal must use Dash and select gnome-terminal
- Alt+PrintScreen doesn't open screen-shot must use Dash and select Screenshot
- Media keys don't work
Resorting to laptop's keyboard (Alienware 17 R3) Ctrl+Alt+T
I'm experiencing the same problem with Ubuntu 18.04 release.
I tried to disable the wodim plugin but the check box is checked and gray.
I tried setting the USID bit in
/usr/share/bash-completion/conpletions/wodin but the brasero crash still
occurred.
Tested on two different computers. Same

I got the message "please replace the disc with a supported cd or dvd"
when running brasero with "sudo". I then quit brasero and ran it again
without sudo, and then it had no issues and I was able to burn the
image.

I cannot replicate this in Bionic, at least if I understand the steps to
reproduce correctly. If this is still valid in Bionic, please re-write

I have tried switching theme/icon theme. Does not work. After some
googling though I came up with a workaround: Open GNOME Tweaks / Top Bar
and switch on/off the "Application Menu". This did the trick for me.
