When I turn of computer, then turn on and change graphical environment
(from default Ubuntu environments) in login manager, screen is empty and
I see only background color. HDD stop load (don't load) gnome-shell and

I look a quick look at your posted data. It does seem odd that your
system starts out configuring the drm and then uses fb. Do you have
anything custom on your boot line, like some video parameters? E.g.
'cat /proc/cmdline'. More grabbing at straws.

Well, this sounds like a different problem. The problem I reported was
very clearly the result of an incomplete package upgrade/removal
resulting in a failed test for unity compatibility leading to setting
that environment variable for software gl.

I'm not an expert, but you might want to see if you can gain some
insight from the output of 'journalctl -b0'.
E.g. is your system using the framebuffer driver "fbcon: xxx" or "[drm]
..." during boot up?

I have the same keyboard shortcut problem ctrl-alt-t doesn't work. It
starts once i login with Unity, and after switching between GNOME and
Unity couple of times and restart, it starts to work again.

Chrome using significant CPU when tabs are open on non-trivial pages is
expected.
And Gnome Shell using noticeable CPU when any window is updating is a
known issue, but really a whole class of bugs. For a list of known

Hmm, actually it is arguably worse with version 3.28.0-0ubuntu1.1
The problem with that version is that you can't log in more than once
without encountering a new login screen freeze, that is unlike this one.
