OpenVPN Network Manager applet keeps zombie openvpn processes after
disconnection or connection loss. This odd behavior makes user experience

This is happening to me several times now on a daily basis.
Each time I submit the crash report and each time within the report it
says a duplicate of this bug report. How can I help resolve it.
New install of 18.04 from about a month ago - all updates and upgrades

Hi,
I have Linux Mint 18.3 (it's based on Ubuntu 16.04)
I am about UDisks 2.1.7 (gnome-disks)
When i try to make LUKS partition in USB flash drive (SSD Samsung 1Tb) i
regulary got crash
When i run from 'root' (sudo -H gnome-disks) user i got crash again but i have
core file. I got backtrace

I booted the live cd in single mode, modified /etc/gdm3/custom.conf as
follows, then exited the single mode and continued the normal boot
process.
1) First attempt:

I can see the purple background for a moment, then I'm sent back to text

had the same problem. Like Michael wrote
/usr/bin/cdrdao - set to 4711, /usr/bin/wodim to4711 and /usr/bin/growisofs
0755 made it work
cd /usr/bin
sudo chmod -v 4711 cdrdao
udo chmod -v 4711 wodim
sudo chmod -v 0755 growisofs
