Thanks. It's possible there's some VT switching happening in the screen
locking/unlocking. Or just mode switching. If so then that can trigger
an annoying feature of the Nvidia driver where it will forget its
textures:

Almost every time I try to launch Nautilus – whether via the panel, via
the terminal, or by clicking "Open" buttons in programs – it takes close
to 1 minute to launch. I have timed it using a watch, and it seems to
take between 30 seconds and 1 minute from the relevant button

Just after installation of the system, I connected the calendar to my Google

I was surprised that the events are not there, and there was no message about

It turned out that in only synced after logging in and then logging out.
It would be nice if it syncs

This is a desktop computer so I don't suspend and resume. However I do
lock the screen regularly, but I could not reproduce the problem by
locking and unlocking the screen.
The problem seems to occur after a certain amount of uptime, though I
have not measured how much uptime.

Thanks to @JayShauer's clue about evolution-alarm-notify, I finally
managed to stop the phantom reminder popups that have plagued me since
upgrading to Ubuntu 20.04. I did it by deleting this file (which hadn't
been changed in years):

Firefox does do some things differently to what I would refer to as an
"GTK app" so I don't count Firefox as a GTK app even though it uses some
GTK.
Using Xwayland may be a common factor but that's probably more of a
correlation than causation. Anything that's not yet ported to native
Wayland
Firefox uses GTK, but in a Wayland session it runs on XWayland, the same
for Qt apps and Chrome, they run on XWayland in a Wayland session.
That's a common factor.

Yes this bug is about the log messages only, not about it causing any
problems.
It's not impossible the two bugs are related but I would really need to
investigate your freezes first to be sure. Just as I do for multiple
such bug reports every day.
Instead of clouding this bug with potentially

To be honest, I'm not quite sure what this ticket is all about.
If it's just that people see these lines in their log, then surely, it's
not worth having an open ticket about.
On the other hand, I'm saying that I have been investigating this for
two weeks, and I can say with 95%
