It sounds like GNOME (in the mutter component) has frozen. When this
happens the cursor will still move because it is managed by the Xorg
process, but the screen contents are managed by the gnome-shell process.

Title:
CPC AWS jammy builds fail with: "fuse3 : Breaks: fuse"
Tried both "Ubuntu" and "Ubuntu on Wayland" and saw no difference
between these two options. There is no way to change key combination to
Left Alt + Left Shift with any option selected.
