I upgraded to the 22.04 beta last week from 21.10. I use a custom icon
theme. Whenever I enter the Appearance tab in settings the icon theme is
set back to Yaru.

on screen keyboard appears when I touch the screen even though it is
switched off in the universal access settings. I can't dismiss it
without clicking on the touchpad. This seems to be a regression of a
previous gnome bug
I have worked around this issue by switching to lightdm (MATE):

CONNECT API is a python command which is getting translated into an MBIM
CID: MBIM_CID_CONNECT.
