There is, set the style to Dark using the quick menu toggle and don’t use the Appearance tab in Settings. As long as you don’t go in that Settings section, the theme will stay dark. I’ve been doing this since I first noticed the issue and the windows have remained dark. -- You received this bug

I installed gnome-calendar 43.1-0ubuntu1 and successfully completed the test case. I noticed that dragging an event to a different time slot didn't save to the correct time, depending on the system timezone. I reported that issue to GNOME. I verified that the issue also affects Calendar 43.0
