After system update from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 settings won't open
(neither using the GUI gear icon nor using the terminal command gnome-
control-center).
The error message it returns is "gnome-control-center:

Maintainer's comments regarding pushing this to the 3.44 branch (Ubuntu
