I have same problem in 9.10 and in 10.04 after upgrade - please help
with this

same here after update to jaunty :(
but it could happen without any interference with pidgin - when i start totem
audio broken - if i restart totem couple of times it begin to work fine
Please fix this!
P.S. in 8.10 all was fine :(

When i add mp3 file with metadata in russian or ukrainian i've song name (or
any other field) not readable.
For example i see ÏÏÊ instead ППК :(
