Under Raring amd64, fully update when accessing my Films or Musique
folders, Files/Nautilus freezes, greys out before becoming available
again. The Musique folder has 35659 elements for 812,3 Gb, the Films
folder has 729 elements for 523,7 Gb. I have 12.04 installed on the

It used to be that during a file operation (move/copy) while the system
focus is on a window (Firefox in this example) clicking on the Nautilus
icon in Unity would bring the Nautilus operation in the front, but not
anymore with Files 3.5.4. It just start a new Nautilus/Files

, ctrl-V copies the data to the search bar instead of the selected
folder.

I fail to understand where the Preferences are supposed to be now.
Running $ killall nautilus $ UBUNTU_MENUPROXY= nautilus doesnt change
anything. For example, where am I supposed to set One click behavior
now?

FYI, on Precise amd64, I use a Logitech wireless touchpad instead of a
mouse. For me it's a total no go, I just can't get Unity to unhide,
whatever I do, whatever the settings, always have to use the Super key
which is really annoying.

Updated my Lucid Beta @ 05:00 am UTC, over 100 updates, rebooted. Since
GDM loops, and I cannot go into recovery mode. When tryin gto go into
recovery mode, I get fsck from util-linux-ng 2.1.7.2 4 times.
So I'm totally stuck

Karmic 9.10 release 9.10 amd64 new installation. After changing password
using the GUI, password is rejected by the SU command in Terminal. Tried
three times. Problem has been noticed on a different computer on a
