1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System ->

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or 
by checking in Software Center
$ apt-cache policy gnome-control-center

3) What you expected to happen
Run gnome-control-center without gedit-common (I'm using VS Code as my text 
editor and removed Gedit, installed by default). Easy way - add gedit-common as 
dependency for gnome-control-center.

4) What happened instead

$ sudo apt-get remove -y gedit

Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  gedit-common gir1.2-gtksource-4 python3-gi-cairo
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
