Public bug reported: Bugs like the following have occured before. All previous bugs listed as either invalid or fix released.
SYSTEM: Version: 1.18.2-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Saucy 13.10 SUMMARY: Copying large directory across webDAV freezes Thunar (probably others) REPRODUCE: (A) In middle of LAN nfs large copy, changing password on destination nfs (obviously not a good idea) freezes Thunar. (B) In both cases, this is definitively a bug because Thunar has to be force-closed, and then can freeze again when reopened. NOT A WORKAROUND: Unfreeze by killing "/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-dav --spawner :1.2 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/26" or similar process. Copying the folders remains impossible. This is a freeze that should not happen, even if the distant end is misbehaving. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1273812 Title: gvfs hangs on network access To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1273812/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
