Clock Applet crashes for no reason
I have another crash currently and the clock shows another part of the gnome
panel instead of the time.
Specifically it shows the date Sun Jun 13, but truncated because the clock is
smaller so it only shows Jun 13, and a couple of dots on each side. (see

know the command line switch exists to install without recommends.
They’ll just use KPackageKit to install and that will pull in gvfs. Do I

I'm now able to point out the most frequent cause of those crashes is
sending a message in empathy. the x server crashes the very moment i
press enter to send a message. not always, but often.

Just wanted to add that I'd like to leave my windows without titles and borders
to use desktop space more efficiently. I do need bigger area around windows
sides/ends allowing me to change windows size. As I understand this is what
users are asking for, and it can't resolved by adding bigger
