Hi.
I just updated from Jaunty to Karmic. I always have my notebook's display
brightness set as low as possible.
But now when the GDM login screen is shown it always switches to full
brightness...

To clarify the problem:
the brightness will never be saved and must be re-set at each reboot as GDM
switches to full brightness...
This was not true for 9.04 version.

Hi!
When connecting an USB stick it is mounted as /media/disk - but writing doesn't
work. It's restricted.
A sudo cp ~/Filename /media/disk/ works using the console.
