Added a gnome-screensaver task. Demoting its depends on rss-glx could be a good first step towards resolving this. Firstly, it would cut 19 savers. Secondly, as Tormod notes above, the savers in this package account for most of the GPU-lockup/crashes and many have high CPU usage... -- Ship
