bump. Doesn't appear fixed, in ubuntu 14.04 kthreadd processes are still
shown and expanded, by default. And if I close them, it somehow re-
expands itself. Please give us and option to completely hide kthreadd in
the task manager.

It's not triaged. The ability to click on the volume button and then
scroll the mouse slider, as long as you are moused-over a tiny area is
not an effective solution. This bug should be considered confirmed.
Totem is a broken media player, imho, because of this critical bug.

Public bug reported:
I want the mouse scroll to scroll the volume up and down, not the time
forward and back. This is a non-standard behavior that I consider to be
a BUG within Totem, and I preferentially use VNC because of this BUG.
Fix it so mouse scroll controls volume instead of time please.
Same problem here on Ubuntu 18.04. However adding dns=default to the
[main] section of /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf makes it
worse. 1. The question mark shows even if connected 2. DNS does not work
anymore.

OK. So I was a happy user of 16.04. With a new computer in August, I
thought it would make sense to go with 18.04.
One of the biggest issues is this searching stuff in Nautilus. Why?
1. It is not instant (unlike the type/find ahead of Nautilus in 16.04). I
cannot type and then press enter and
I don't recall what I did last time but now I installed it again and it
works.

I was viewing a PDF, went to view the properties, and then tried to
close the properties. The window manger asked me if I wanted to force
the close, I said wait. Later, Evince crashed. It maybe related to
#260715, but I doubt it.

This is still an issue for me.
I'm running 8.04 (up to date) on a HP DV 1700 series laptop. When I use the GUI
to swap the ctrl and caps keys, the key marked caps lock is still the only
one that is triggering the LED. Actually, I ran the command
xmodmap -e clear lock -e add lock = Caps_Lock
It doesn't stick. But, rather than mess around with config files, I've got
another work around. Put the command:
xmodmap -e clear lock -e add lock = Caps_Lock
into the sessions thingy (System- Preferences - Sessions - Add, the name is
whatever, the command is the one above etc.).

I've done more testing and found that what I've been experiencing may or
may not be replicating this bug. I was loading the processor using

core under load. The reasons the ondemand cpu frequency governor was not

I seem to be hitting the same problem here. Unfortunately, I can't tell
if my AD user name is different from my mailbox name as I'm too MS
Exchange ignorant. As this is quite important for me, is there any way
to pay a developer to fix this bug?

evolution-exchange: unable to setup exchange
When I use exchange-connector-setup-2.8 (in 6.10) and provide:
owa url: https://owa.company.com/exchange/username
username: ...
password: ...
and click next, I get the unknown error error and the owa url
transforms to:
I tried that before... I tried many different things, like
DOMAIN\USERNAME for username, my e-mail for username and it still won't
work. The difference is that in exchange-connector, after clicking Next,
the OWA URL field changes as described by my previous comment (i.e.
CookieAuth.dll is added).
