time to fix the problem. Writing a Gnome extension was new to me as
well, but not difficult. After seeing zero evidence of progress on the
bug over many years, I had given up hope that it would get fixed.

Still not fixed on Natty beta 2 on a 1024 x 600 screen. The calendar
screen cannot be made to fit entirely on the screen, making the
application unusable on a netbook. I cannot believe this is such a
complicated problem that it could not be fixed in 5 years.

Can get evolution assistant to work by making it fullscreen, but then
clicking on the checkboxes causes random response by the window. By
alternating between fullscreen and partial, I can eventually get the
checkboxes to work.
All of that work is moot, however, because the calendar sizes larger
This is an even bigger issue on netbooks and tablets, where vertical
screen space tends to be even MORE severely limited. Since Ubuntu is
working hard for growth in these two spaces, this may affect the
