[Bug 1067901] Re: can't configure any accounts in empathy

2012-10-21 Thread Cameron Matheson
There wasn't any error, but there was also no way to configure the account. It turns out I needed to install gnome-control-center-signon. Since this is the only way to configure accounts for empathy, perhaps that should be one of empathy's dependencies? -- You received this bug notification

[Bug 1067901] [NEW] can't configure any accounts in empathy

2012-10-17 Thread Cameron Matheson
Public bug reported: Accounts can't be configured in empathy in 12.10. I think this is because of the online accounts fork (I have the gnome-shell version of online accounts, but not the ubuntu version). I think maybe I should have both? ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package:

[Bug 863309] Re: Menubar always shown by default (although deactivated)

2011-10-10 Thread Cameron Matheson
I tried purging my gnome-terminal settings (gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/gnome-terminal) in the hopes that I would then be rid of any problem settings from previous versions, but that didn't make any difference. There are no dconf settings for gnome-terminal, afaik. -- You received this

[Bug 871055] [NEW] gnome-terminal ignores preference to not show menubar by default

2011-10-08 Thread Cameron Matheson
Public bug reported: I have unchecked the box Show menubar by default in new terminals in Profile Preferences, but new terminals are always created with the menubar. I then have to select View-Show Menubar twice to hide the menubar. This is a regression from prior versions of ubuntu.

[Bug 433360] Re: multiple workspaces not shown in workspace switcher

2009-09-30 Thread Cameron Matheson
I am having this issue as well. One thing worth mentioning is that I am using openbox as my window manager. The workspace switcher has always worked perfectly in the past. I will try in metacity momentarily and report if the issue goes away. -- multiple workspaces not shown in workspace

[Bug 433360] Re: multiple workspaces not shown in workspace switcher

2009-09-30 Thread Cameron Matheson
The pager does work as expected when using metacity. The interesting thing is that it (the workspace switcher) is overriding my openbox configuration's default number of workspaces (3) so that I only get one upon initial login. After adding more workspaces with openbox, workspace switcher still

[Bug 8839] edgy rhythmbox still broken

2006-11-10 Thread Cameron Matheson
The rhythmbox still doesn't work. The fields are now editable when you go to change song titles/artist/etc., and it works until you close rhythmbox. It appears that the changes aren't written to the file though, because the next time when you start rhythmbox all the songs are back in their

[Bug 46057] Re: epiphany does not respect gnome-text-editor

2006-05-23 Thread Cameron Matheson
Sorry, I should have realized this is a GNOME issue... I don't actually run the GNOME desktop, just a few of the apps (epiphany, abiword, etc.). Anyway, thanks for investigating this. -- epiphany does not respect gnome-text-editor https://launchpad.net/bugs/46057 -- desktop-bugs mailing list
