If a smart playlist is created, e.g. by dragging the name of an album to
the playlists area, the "burn to CD" button is greyed out. However,
when the songs from the album are all selected at once and dragged over
(creating a manual playlist), C
I have the same problem, it only started with Herd 5. One odd thing I
noticed in my log is this:

This is repeat
I had the same problem. As a workaround, try adding "noapic" to the
boot options. This made the cursor lag but the hard disk was detected
correctly.
