[Bug 479945] [NEW] Direction keys are broken in terminal applications

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal Since upgrading to Karmic the direction keys are broken in terminal based applications, such as the Python REPL, CPAN etc. Instead of sending up, pressing up gives ^[[A left prints ^[[D right prints ^[[C down prints ^[[B This worked fine
