This is also an issue for me.
An additional note to make is that I get this error even after deleting
the remembered credentials from the keyring.

Yes, the drive is writable. I forgot to mention that the audio is still
there; it is only the tags that are missing.

I should also mention that I have had success with writing tags in other
applications, namely GnomeBaker. It is only in Brasero that the problem
occurs.
