That's not what I said. Users are of course free to use the terminal if they
wish, I don't mean to prevent them from doing that; and as far as options
are concerned, moderation is always better than starvation. I just think
that applying the pattern of designing one interface for normal users and

Marking invalid /as a paper cut/, as this is not consistently
reproducible (I cannot reproduce it, nor can mac_v), so it makes it
difficult to fix. I also suspect that the sporadic nature of the problem
means the technical details underneath the issue are non-trivial.

I suggest we choose an existing theme to minimize work (e.g. Renkoo) and
modify it to look splendid on Ubuntu!

Can you provide evidence that this is a needed change? Is there a user
pain here? Would users appreciate this change? If you can collect some
user data, that would be excellent; otherwise my intuition is that
people who create new folders already know what to do with them.
