I'm a very technical guy, but I have work to do and not much time to do it in. I don't want to lose time googling on how to get the copy-paste working. Most users don't even start googling. If you need to google to get it working, it doesn't work!
Please fix this. And I mean: I install Ubuntu and copy-paste works as expected. I don't care how. As a sidenote, my mood currently agrees with everyone posting stuff like this: ... I cannot for one moment understand that something as primary as this didn't get fixed in the 5 year (five!! years!!!) this issue has been alive. It really causes me to slap somebody and resort to the "Linux is for techies out of touch with reality" tirade... I really can't even begin to grasp why this isn't on top of the priority list. This makes me think very bad things about the decision makers at Canonical...
