1) I think that the icon should be removed or grayed in plain-text mode. Now it
seems a bug!
2) If the icon must remain, add a caption to it: there is no caption if you
pass on the icon with the cursos, and the user can't understand what the icon
is!

I missed that the bug isn't unique, but is reproducible every time that I open
that file.
Maybe other person can try to open a file large at least 8MB, trying to
reproduce the bug.

Yes, with pango disabled the problem is fixed, but the fonts are not
smoothed and cool as the "bugged" version.
