Nevermind. I figured out that if I hover over the message text it is
hidden so I can see the file names.

Selecting one or more files in nautilus shows a message at the bottom
right (i.e. 6 folders selected (containing a total of...). This message
overlays the name of the file or folder items at the bottom of the
window making it impossible to see the names. See attachment to see
