Yeah absolutely file a new bug!
Even if it feels the same it's probably not the same bug in the source
code.

Not work key binding of gnome with rhythmbox
Since realplayer was added do edgy commercial today it's really time to
put out a totem update for edgy with --disable-complex-plugin!
If you don't do some kind of divert or alternatives thing with the
plugin of cource...
app-install-data-commercial (6.1)
* added channels/opera.desktop
Of cource the whole feisty package should not be backported, only adding
--disable-complex-plugin to the edgy build of totem as a bugfix.

Hal doesn't detect my soundcard
Correction, hal only lists the timer and mixer, not any playback and
capture devices:
hal-device | grep -i alsa
16: udi = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer_alsa_timer'
info.udi = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer_alsa_timer' (string)
alsa.device_file = '/dev/snd/timer' (string)
Well I sat down with the hal 0.5.9 source and tried to figure out how it
works...
in sound_add in device.c the alsa sound properties only get added if the
device has a parent. But HAL can't find a parent for my devices like
/sys/class/sound/pcmC0D0p etc... so it doesn't register them.
--
Hal
Oh, this is a regression from Edgy. Hal in edgy lists my soundcard devices, but
on Feisty with 2.6.20-rc2 it doesn't.
Perhaps it's not a hal bug afterall?
Got a patch for hal that makes it list my sound devices again though...
--
Hal doesn't detect my soundcard
https://launchpad.net/bugs/77451
/sys/class/sound/pcmC0D0p 's parent is something like
/sys/class/sound/card0, but that never get's added to hal, so when hal
tries to find pcmC0D0p's parent it's been thrown away... This need some
patching!

I belive this is the effect of the new totem plugins from totem-mozilla.
Both totem and realplayer now provide a realplayer-plugin. This could
