BTW - I am running a HP dv6000t with nVidia Go 7400 using version 177 of the nVidia drivers. When switching from compiz to to metacity, the screensaver works again... seems to be that Xorg also is behaving differently under Ibex - it seems to shoot to 50% processor consumption every few minutes,
