kdm doesn't come up when selecting resume normal boot in the single user mode.
I've tested it on two machines.
I'll leave the verification-needed tag since I haven't tested gdm.

I'm not sure why my patch doesn't fix the issue with gnome-power-manager
but it seems to work with KDE powerdevil (once a patch to respect the
brightness_in_hardware property has been uploaded).
The MSI Wind seems to send brightness up/down key events on every
brightness change and that's exactly
I'm marking this bug as fixed for kdebase-workspace (4:4.3.2-0ubuntu7)
though it won't actually work until hal-info has been patched.

I think the solution is to add a hal rule to set
laptop_panel.brightness_in_hardware = true for the MSI Wind U100.

The OnlyShowIn patch has been introduced in 2.0.12-0ubuntu3:
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15747154/ekiga_2.0.12-0ubuntu2_2.0.12-0ubuntu3.diff.gz
As the changelog doesn't really mention a reason i'm going to ask Steve
Kowalik who uploaded the package.

Ekiga menu does not appear in KDE, XFCE
I can also confirm it.
The reason for this bug is ubuntu_desktop-file-onlyshowin.patch which adds the
following line to ekiga.desktop:
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Mobile
I'm not sure what this patch is good for but it should at least be changed to:
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;KDE;Mobile;

I can confirm this. ekiga sometimes crashes when I quit it.

kpdf and okular print links with red borders
This is a regression caused by Poppler.
It's fixed in v0.10 so it only affects Intrepid.
There is a backported bugfix from Fedora, which I sumbitted to Debian:
