Dear Pedro
Yes this happens every time that I try to start F-Spot. I've tried deleting
and reinstalling F-Spot but still get the same problem. I have also noticed
that Eye of Gnome image viewer fails to start, although I don't get any
particular error message.
I'm using Picasa 3 to view images.
Pedro
I've uninstalled picasa, f-spot and eog, then installed f-spot on its own -
still get the same error. Reinstalled eog. When I tried to start eog from a
terminal it gave an error message - error while loading shared libraries:
/usr/lib/liblcms.so.1: file too short.
When I looked at this
Pedro
Thanks - reinstalling liblcms1 and f-spot worked. Removing liblcms1 also
removed several other packages e.g. f-spot, eog, gimp, openjdk, etc. but
these only took a few minutes to reinstall. F-spot and eog now working fine.
Thanks for your help with this, much appreciated.
Graham
