The proposed workaround with gnome-tweak-tool doesn't work for me.
I can change the behaviour of Caps Lock in some ways, but not in others.
Swiching Caps Lock with ESC works, but disabling it doesn't!
(I use Unity with German localization. Could that affect the behaviour?)

Jerusalem, yet there are weather stations in Jerusalem and all
commercial weather websites I know of provide weather updates for
Jerusalem/Israel.
Here the Locations.xml entry
Error also happens on adding a facebook-account. Google works but there
is opening an empty browser-window, too.

I experienced the same problem. Opening a file dialog in any application
causes a 25 second freeze of the program. Thereafter the dialog appears
and can be used.
I am using fully updated Ubuntu 8.04.2 (64 bits) clients and server. The
problem occurs only with user accounts that have NFS mounted ho

Well, the idea to install an old libgtk2.0 wasn't so good after all. It
broke lots of dependencies and I made the mistake to do some upgrades
after that - it practically removed everything one needs. I'll be
installing for the next day or two.
