The difference I am seeing in my situation is that when I remove the
duplicate google account that is failing to authenticate, I can no
longer use the Accounts window. It opens, then immediately closes.
If I run it from a bash shell I get:
$ empathy-accounts
**
I get the same as screwITfix on gutsy. It takes about 10 seconds for
nautilus to come down from 100% CPU usage when you unmount the
connection

When I playback an mp3 file using rhythmbox, i get this odd, semi
rhythmical thumping noise over the top of the music being played. In
case you ask, this is not the actual music, or indeed specific mp3
files. It seems that all mp3 files
