On a different system I noticed that gweather-applet-2 was reporting usage of around 55MB. Granted the system does have two instances of the applet running. However, after killing the process and allowing it to restart, it's now only reporting about 17 MB used, a significant difference. It

[Bug 204253] Re: key cache notification icon

2008-05-17 Thread Jamin W. Collins
It appears that the problem has gotten worse with the Hardy release. While I've made the gconf changes necessary in Gutsy to get the icon to display and those changes are still present in the current gconf configuration on Hardy, the icon does not display. The ssh keys do still appear to get

[Bug 224248] Re: unnecessary scroll bar

I'm not sure why this was changed to vinagre. Vinagre was not used in any way for the tests, the report was filed against the application that was used. Additionally, I'm not following your statement of is designed to work this way. This extra scroll bar makes for additional clumsy scrolling

[Bug 77541] Re: After hibernation ekiga says registration failed.

2008-04-20 Thread Jamin W. Collins
I too can confirm this. Running fully updated Gutsy with current Ekiga v2.0.11. It would be nice if there were some menu option to re-attempt registration or perhaps a configurable number of retries with delays between them. I don't know that I agree with the priority assigned to this bug.

As the upstream bug report illustrates, a number of users disagree with the authors over whether this is a bug or not. The fact that it keeps getting reported indicates that users don't accept the behavior as intuitive and instead see it as a bug. The initial report for this bug was nearly four
