Could someone provide the commands to merge the files into the share
directory properly? I think it'll be something like:
cd /usr
sudo cp -r @DATADIRNAME@/* share
But I'm not really an expert and I don't want to experiment. Thanks

I reproduced this using this morning's Ubuntu Maverick build (20100828).
Fresh install, startup Rhythmbox it comes up briefly then crashes

BTW, clicking on the /var/crash/rhythmbox.1000.crash file says
The problem cannot be reported:
The program crashed on an assertion failure, but the message could not
be retrieved. Apport does not support reporting these crashes.
so don't know how much else I can reproduce for now...
