pushing the power button or opening the lid solves the issue. The led
indicator continues to pulsate and there's no indication of any response
from the computer.

I'm running 64its 12.10 NL locales with Gnome-shell.
I often get the message that there is a facebook connection problem but
I can see the facebook contacts.
When I click to reconnect the debug says this and it does not connect and gives
the same problem warning:
I upgraded to 12.10 and now I use the EWS service to connect.
This problem did not occur anymore with the EWS connector.
It seems related to the mapi connector.

Confirmed. Installed OS on my SSD, I deleted the partitions on my HDD during
installation. Now I am not allowed to create new partition through disk utility
-- cannot mount it either

Well, I found a workaround for my spesific problem: start the OS
installation again, go to the screen where you can format/partition
hard-drives. I did what I had to do there, then cancelled the
installation and rebooted. Now I can mount/unmount the hard drive and I
can use it. However, If I try

I have found a way to reproduce it.
Copy a random file or folder.
When you go to a Local (i mean not a netwok mounted folder) and you get a
normal paste in option.
When you mount a folder with gvfs (I used a smb mount) and try tou use the
paste in, it is grey but you can still use it.

Update: This seems to be a bug in Unity, not in gnome-terminal. After a
reboot this problem now applies to Rhythmbox instead. So, I suggest that

I just got hit by the same bug myself, so I wrote a python script to
save backup of files.
It will save files as filename.txt.unsaved in the same folder as
filename.txt or as 2010-06-05_02:53:40.Unsaved Document 1.unsaved.txt
in home.
Warning: It is not very untested.

For me its possible to send åäöÅÄÖ with empathy, but when an ICQ-
friend send me a message with these letters I get the message with ÅÄÖ
replaced with ? and followed by an error message:

I think the gconf value should have been ControlAltT, not
CtrlAltT. Compiz probably just ignores Ctrl.

In our case, a user could get a tarball containing an executable with
the +x bit set from a malicious user.
