hmm, after some tinkering, i managed to add /usr/lib/python-support to the sys.path permanently. Now importing vte makes python segfault right away. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ python -vd # installing zipimport hook import zipimport # builtin # installed zipimport hook # /usr/lib/python2.4/site.pyc
