I just upgraded to Intrepid and have this bug.
It is very very annoying. Please mark this bug has high priority.
Is there a workaround? a quick-dirty fix?

Is this the description of the upstream bug?
If it is so then I think a wrong bug is reported!
Also I don't see any links back from that bug to this thread. So that upstream

Sometimes this problem doesn't occur.
It seems to depend on when the bottom and/or top panel are made visible.
If the panels are visible AFTER the terminals are visible than the terminals
are moved to a different place.

At first only the gnome-terminal with mutliple tabs was resized. But now
the others are changing size and postion also.
