I see in the changelog for that in the last upload Robert Ancell removed
the recommends for libdconf0, stating we do that at a higher level. I
noticed it today in iso testing, libdconf0 is installed but some of our
default settings are missing like theme.

The problem is I think that is rather subjective, for me the current
fonts look much better. Choosing the proper font size is going to vary
based on screen size/resolution and individual opinion. Which is why I
think this is best fixed in empathy to honor system preferences.

I suspect this is an upstream empathy bug, perhaps empathy just doesn't
handle over-riding the font sizes in webkit based on desktop settings.
Gwibber does do that, but it isn't really theme related as far as I

I think the patch looks good, just modify the autotools bits like i
posted on the wiki.
There is a problem with the icon, which we think needs to be fixed in
the theme. The battery icon is scaled down to much, can you please file

I don't think the crasher in comment #1 is related the this bug. This
bug is due to the patch in rhythmbox adding support for application-
indicators. That patch actually bypasses notifications, which isn't
really the goal. We need to fix that.

The libappindicator patch to rhythmbox doesn't provide any fall back to
the original status icon. We should detect for interest from the
indicator (if it is present) and if not, fall back to displaying the
status icon.

The authorization requests appear in the messaging menu, just like an IM
does. You have to click on that to get the Approve/Reject dialog.

When running f-spot in viewer mode you should be able to browse other
images in the same directory automatically, without explicitly selecting
them when opening f-spot. This is the current behavior of eog, and it
seems pretty natural.

Indicator support for Empathy is a distro patch for ubuntu, so the
version in ppa:telepathy doesn't support the messaging indicator. You
will need to switch back to the default version in karmic to get that.
