I can confirm this is still happening on up-to-date intrepid. Is someone
pulling the upstream fix to get it updated in 8.10?

Still having this issue.. Odd thing is that even video playback is
affected after suspending (mplayer, totem, vlc and derivates). kill'ing
pulseaudio makes video playback back to normal, but with no sound.
Any workarounds besides killing pulseaudio? I've tried a few times to
restart the deamon
I can confirm the bug using either Epiphany or Firefox3 beta 3 (Ubuntu Hardy,
current). Another (interesting) testcase:
