Hi, The same happens to me when i use kernel 2.6.35-22-generic, but all work fine with kernel 2.6.32-25-generic.
When i insert the SD Card the system launches the automount, then when i enter to the mounted device i view the files JPEG as jpeg files but nautilus can't open them, the preview thumbs are not showed and when i click an image the viewer says "Error Interpreting JPEG image file...". I conserve my old Kernel 2.6.32-25-generic, and when i run with this kernel version all work OK! The CardReader device works perfect.
