First review has been done [1], it seems fine, but I'm waiting for the
final decision about the naming of these APIs.

Upstream is still not responding... I guess I'd go for a duplicated
implementation...

Title:
Add support for WM_CLASS
Sorry, I've fixed that... And yes, I do agree that upstream should agree with
this, also if I've not heard something from them since when I've posted
something in bugzilla.
However this feature would be needed by projects like BAMF, also if in the
mid-time I could implement this duplicating the
for merge in upstream too [1].

Title:
Natty Screensaver freezes system
I've assigned the bug to the linux package too, since this seems more
related to the kernel than to X or the gnome-screensaver itself (since
the bug is shown also using xset dpms force off).
I'm quite sure it depends on the kernel side, since few months ago I upgraded
my maverick kernel with the

This seems quite strange: I've built the patch both for metacity in Maverick
and in Natty (that I'm running through VirtualBox BTW) and I never saw that
issue... It sounds quite strange to me since the title should be over the
metacity bar (that is colored before and below it).
I don't know how
Mh, this is quite strange since I didn't noticed this bug when I made the
patch, and neither I can see it now...
I've just recompiled the package with the patch and both the Ambiance and the
other metacity themes work as expected both using unity-window-decorator and
the standard metacity
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: metacity
As it's done in Unity (see bug #694924), when the application title is
too long to fit the Metacity decorator, it should be faded and not just
cut.
The attached patch fixes the issue, and has already sent to upstream.

Well... I don't think that the verification has been done: only who was not
affected by this issue before the update confirmed that the new source works as
the previous.
Who has the network error facebook chat bug like me is still affected by it

Ah, and I want to underline that before yesterday night (until I changed
my DNS, I guess) I didn't have that issue: I was able to connect to
facebook without using the xmpp workaround, but using the standard
facebook empathy account...
