I can confirm this bug. After formatting my new usb-disk this way, everytime I plug it in it gets "decrypted", but I have to mount it manually via 'mount /dev/mapper/luks_123deviceid123 /media/mountpoint' -- Gnome-mount will only mount encrypted partitions and not drives created with cryptsetup/
