I too have this issue in the final release version of Gutsy. Is there
any way to get some debugging information from the deskbar applet?

Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner
Nautilus recognizes my cd writer, after copying the files to the CD/DVD
creator location (burn:///) and clicking the Write to Disc I get the
standard CD Burning prompt. When I click the Write button I am
prompted with the message:
Burning CDs using cdrecord works fine.
