I see this too, and I agree with Christian as to what's happening. Also
dragging and dropping photos to import them works correctly.

This is _totally_ broken. I have hardware that knows about .ogg but not
.oga, so now when I rip songs with Linux they don't work on my music
player. I am cluey enough to know that I have to rename them, but most
people won't be - and will just assume that Linux doesn't work.

For the record, I can't reproduce this in Hardy yet.

I did a bit of digging, and wrote a systemtap script to work out what
was happening ... and I think I know what's going on.
Nautilus is launching f-spot, this is configured in from
System-Preferences-File Management, then the Media tab. There is a

fixes the import not showing anything, at least for importing from a
mounted memory card - probably breaks other uses, but that'll do for me.

Thanks for the pointer Mary, and thanks Senor for pointing out how

clicking on an https link when the remote site has invalid credentials does not
work
The pretty html is nice, except it doesn't actually help.
It says to add an exception in my advanced encryption settings - where
are they? I have scrubbed every menu and there is nothing in there,
there is no way my mum is going to be able to work this out. This should
be a blocker.

Nope, I see this _without_ the window switcher plugin enabled.

I've just seen something similar to this. After an upgrade all messages were
being marked as junk, I did not have remote tests enabled.
Curiously, disabling junk tests and the reenabling them seems to have fixed the
problem.
However I still see this in the log:
