I can only reproduce this with totem so I am assigning this to the totem package. This bug has been confirmed on intel and ati video cards so unless totem is triggering a bug further up in the xorg stack, it's not there either. I have tested this against 4 ubuntu gutsy kernels 2.6.22 12-generic,
