I use Ubuntu Edgy :)
I tried following the instructions on how to make a backtrace as you
requested, but there is no dbgsym package for gtranslator. Am I to
proceed without it?

gtranslator crashes when copying text from translations fields
https://launchpad.net/bugs/73858

desktop-bugs
Public bug reported:
Quite often, when I try to copy text (Ctrl-C) from either of the text
fields in the translation view, gtranslator locks up, never to recover.
Only solution is to kill gtranslator and start over from where you
last saved.
I'd really appreciate if this could be fixed, since
Yeah, thanks for fixing. I use Revelation daily, so this was rather
annoying...
Thumbs up to the bugfixers :D

Seemingly, this isn't related to tsclient, only gnome-screensaver.

No, no problems at all. gdmsetup is sweet :)

That's what I get. gdmsetup doesn't recreate the file for me. I did a sudo
touch /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom, but I still get this error.
