[Bug 190366] Re: Nautilus does not identify partitions, except by size

2008-02-29 Thread Nick Bauermeister
We could patch this in for Ubuntu if the mount location's name is really the preferred way to go for us I would really like this better. At the moment I have 15 partitions mounted to /media Of course it would be possible to set a label to all of them but the problem is, the next time I'm

Please stop confirming this has been fixed for you. It _should_ be fixed, so it's certainly better only to report if it's _not_ fixed for you. Thank you. -- [MASTER] broken initial stacking (was: compiz hides quick loading windows at login) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147943 You received

[Bug 37828] Re: Text rendered incorrectly in presence of ligatures and justified text

2007-10-05 Thread Nick Bauermeister
I would prefer Ben Laenen's proposal to disable ligatures in DejaVu Sans for Gutsy, since it's the last release with this bug anyway. For whatever reason I get this now with Gutsy on the exact same profile of Firerfox that did not have this problem in Feisty. The only workaround for me is

Feisty did use another /usr/lib/firefox/firefox script than gutsy does Thanks for the info. I guess due to that change, I get this bug as well: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/144002 I'll try switching back to Feisty's script too. -- Text rendered incorrectly in

[Bug 122602] Re: Duplicated entries in Places Menu

2007-05-25 Thread Nick Bauermeister
Hi, thanks for taking care of the bug but unfortunately the fix isn't right. I changed the line like mentioned in the link to GNOME's bugzilla but the folder ~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins doesn't get created. So the saved-sessions.xml file shows up in ~/.gnome2/gedit And although it works now
