I installed Ubuntu Feisty and we still need to add MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=0 in /etc/environment in order to properly view Urdu pages. I don't think it is a bug, because it is a decission made by the Ubuntu developers to disable pango in Firefox shipped with Ubuntu. I installed Debian Etch and using
