I can reproduce the crash, although it does not always give me the
approx popup.
As an aside, since the crash I can only see e-mails that turned up after
the crash. I know that they are all still in my mailbox, as I can see
them with webmail, do you know how I can force evolution to fully reread

I will try to reproduce this, but will not be near my main machine much
in the next week.
And yes, I am fully uptodate, however I also need to run VMWare 5.5,
which does not compile against the 2.6.22 kernel, so I still run with a
2.6.20 kernel, but all libraries/packages/et al. are up to date.

When trying to send an e-mail, I get a dialog box popup with the

This does have 'do not show this again' option, but no yes/no/OK/cancel
buttons.
This only happens whtn the 'remind missing attachments' option is
checked in composer preferences and one of the keywords is in the
e-mail. One of those keywords was in my (corporate boilerplate)
signature, and hence it was being triggered on all e-mails.

incorrectly starts decoding as 'JIS X 0201-1976 ("Roman" set)' instead

I actually have the "Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro USB / Microsoft
Internet Keyboard Pro", but I suspect that it is the non-square layout
that is causing the problem... Switching to generic did indeed solve the

I cannot reliably reproduce this bug. I am using the exchange connector
to access my mail. This happened when I sent mail containing a largish
attachment.

Further experimentation shows that reverting libvte9 to version
1:0.15.3-0ubuntu3 instead of the newly installed 1:0.15-4-0ubuntu1 makes
gnome-terminal stable again.
That is the bug would appear to be in the new version of libvte9.

Of course... I spoke to soon. I just went off to do some serious work,
and was trying to setup my terminals in "the one true way" and gnome-
terminal crashed when I opened up a new tab.
I can reliably make it crash now by setting my terminal to maximised
(for me 209x73) and then opening tabs. By t
I have the same problem, although I was also able to get the terminal to
crash shortly after logging in. After it had been sitting for an hour
(lunch) then I was not able to get it to crash further.

I will also say that I did an:
apt-get source evolution-exchange
sudo apt-get build-dep evolution-exchange
changed camel-exchange-store.c according to the above patch
debian/rules binary
and installed the resulting binary, and now my evolution runs fine (as
far as i can tell so far)
