Under Ubuntu 9.10, compiz was enabled each time I ran startx. Even

I had this today on Ubuntu 9.10, but not after hibernating, sleeping or
anything. The PC is a Dell T3400, quite the opposite of a netbook.
Anyway, this bug doesn't seem to meet the SRU criteria so those who are
annoyed by this may want to upgrade to 10.04 (which is just around the
corner).

Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Please return to the old behaviour of having incremental loud/quiet
buttons rather then the current scale with its pseudobuttons that set an
absolute value. The interface is somewhat unintuitive, which could be
better addressed in U+1.
It's actually indicator-sound, with the actual scale sitting in libido.

Nautilus seems to remember where it last placed the icon for some

there's an overlap. This, however, does not seem to happen for all
volumes.

This still happens in Lucid, gnome-applets 2.29.5.

The other bug had to do with the properties window, but that seems to be
working fine in Ubuntu 9.10. This bug is about the context menu.
