I've seen this problem with not just 10.04 but a few releases earlier as

Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Rhythmbox 0.11.5.90 on intrepid
Play a song with rhythmbox.
Plug-in an ipod.
Rhythmbox recognizes the ipod and it's shown in the left panel. The
regular playback is however stopped.
** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
This bug is still prevalent in gutsy final. IMO, the priority should be
higher since everyone sees the logout screen. It doesn't look right.

I don't see the option in 2.17.90
The option appears for a game of TenAcross. Select Game - Ten Across
[AisleRiot 2.17.90.1]. Perhaps someone using dapper could confirm the
original behaviour reported.

It's working now. Strange ... it wasn't working the other day :/
Given the number of open bugs I'll close this for now and open it up if this
functionality decides not to work.

Automatic contacts are just broken
You have to enable Allow temporary slots use (which is disabled by default)
when you start a game of Ten Across.
You can only place the Kings in the temporary slots.
This is the behaviour of Aiselrot 2.17.4

I posted this on the devel list.
And there was this one reply saying that since dapper is a LTS release, Opera
chose to put the deb on commercial repo.
If a commercial vendors want to put stuff in the repos, they can.
Apparently, for edgy they didn't want to.
